The successful candidate will be a member of the Finance Team. The primary responsibility will be to work in various areas of Finance as needed, including accounts payable processing, billing processing, and other projects and reporting supporting the monthly financial close.

Essential Duties

Finance:

  • Assistance with various analysis and reports supporting the monthly financial close, accounts receivable reporting, and client billing analysis
  • Accounts payable processing and research
  • Vendor compliance with W-9 and 1099 reporting
  • Reconciling daily cash reporting and deposits

Billing:

  • Analyzing, preparing, and processing work in progress and billings to ensure that all client invoices are billed accurately, consistently within client requirements and on a timely basis
  • Working closely with professional staff and obtain appropriate billing approval
  • Researching and resolving billing issues with external and internal clients
  • Following up with clients regarding past due balances

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of services firm billing and collections issues and procedures a plus
  • Familiarity with Bill.com or other automated AP processes a plus
  • Strong technical skills, MS Excel, and reporting software
  • General knowledge in finance and/or accounting
  • Strong organization skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy
  • Clear written and oral communications skills
