PKF O’Connor Davies, LLP is looking for a Senior Tax Associate to join our Private Foundation practice. The individual will provide tax compliance for Private Foundations and tax-exempt entities. PKFOD continues to grow its Private Foundation practice, which provides auditing, tax, advisory and bookkeeping services to a variety of clients. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Prepare and review Forms 990 and 990-PF and provide advice to clients regarding exempt organization and tax return issues.
• Develop strong working relationships with clients built around a clear understanding of their business goals, specific needs and expectations.
• Handle routine client questions, and work with clients to obtain necessary information for financials and tax return completion.
• Develop, train and supervise Staff level team members.
• Work closely with Tax Partners to satisfy the needs with planning compliance.

• BA/BS degree in Accounting from an accredited college/university required; MST preferred.
• 3+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting.
• Proficiency preparing 990 and 990-PF returns preferred.
• CPA certification preferred or demonstrated progress towards obtaining CPA certification, including required 150-credit coursework.
• Proficient knowledge of tax software, specifically ProSystem fx.
• Strong accounting and analytical skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to work additional hours, during busy season, as needed to meet client deliverables.
• Travel to clients may be required.

The compensation for this position ranges from $80,000 - $115,000. Actual compensation will be dependent upon the specific role, office location as well as the individual’s qualifications, experience, skills and certifications.
