We are currently seeking a Senior Tax Associate to join our Trust and Estate Practice which provides Estate Planning Services and Tax Compliance Services. 

• Provide fiduciary, personal income, gift and estate tax compliance services as well as estate planning advisory services
• Prepare individual, fiduciary, estate and gift tax returns
• Review estate and trust fiduciary accountings
• Handle Federal and State tax notices and audits
• Research Federal, State and International tax laws, prepare tax memorandums on technical topics, and develop tax savings strategies
• Oversee all aspects of client accounts and foster client relationships
• Review and analyze estate planning related legal documents
• Supervise other members of the group including monitoring their workload and training and assisting them

• BA/BS degree in Accounting required; MST preferred
• 3+ years’ experience working with trust, estate and gift matters
• CPA certification preferred or demonstrated progress towards obtaining CPA certification, including required 150-credit coursework
• Public accounting firm experience required
• Extensive experience in Tax Advisory and Estate/Trust planning and compliance
• Ability to establish and maintain good client relationships
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications required
• Experience with reviewing fiduciary, gift and estate tax returns
• Preferred experience with Axcess Tax, GEMS, Intelliconnect, RIA Checkpoint and BNA
• Experience with research software and memo writing required
• Must be able to work additional hours, during busy season, as needed to meet client deliverables
• Travel to clients may be required
