The Senior Tax Manager/Tax Manager will lead and manage multiple tax engagements to deliver state tax services for our diverse client base. This individual will serve as a consultant and representative on state business income, personal income, sales and use, payroll and other state taxes. The individual will be responsible for reviewing or drafting memoranda and other tax correspondence as well as creating spreadsheets. The individual will address tax credits including the research credit, tax audits, voluntary disclosure agreements, and tax filing positions. Preparation and review of sales and other tax returns on a limited basis will also be part of the State and Local Tax Manager position.
The Tax Senior/ Supervisor will be responsible for the efficient, accurate, complete and timely preparation and review of tax returns for our diverse client base. This individual will be responsible for advising clients on the tax implications of their business objectives, evaluating and selecting actions to lessen tax burden and cost of compliance, identifying different methods of complying with tax regulations while acting as the primary client contact for complex tax issues. The Tax Senior/ Supervisor should be comfortable with tax compliance on individual, corporate and partnership returns.
The Audit Associate should be able to perform a broad range of accounting tasks with direct supervision on an in-charge accountant/Manager. This individual will assist the Senior or in-charge in the development of audit strategy, planning, review and interpretation of audit findings for clients within government, not-for-profit, HUD, commercial, financial services, or other industries.
The Senior Audit Associate should be able to perform and direct the broadest range of accounting tasks. This person will assist the engagement partner and/or manager in the development of audit strategy, planning, review and interpretation of audit findings. The Senior will work with audit staff at the client’s premises, managing the engagement in the field and performing audit procedures to the appropriate extent. We are currently seeking a Tax Manager or a Senior Tax Manager to join our Trust and Estate Practice which provides Estate Planning Services and Tax Compliance Services.
The Senior Tax Associate will be responsible for the preparation and review of partnership and HNW tax returns for clients within the Firm’s Financial Services sector. The individual will also be called upon to carry out tax related research, analysis and writing assignments. The individual will also work closely with partners, managers and clients during all phases of engagements.
