The Risk Advisory Supervisor is responsible for providing internal audit, Sarbanes-Oxley, SOC attestation and operational review services to organizations across many different industries. This individual will be responsible for conducting fieldwork, both individually and in small teams, discussing finding and observations during exit meetings, preparing work papers to support conclusions and preparing written memos for inclusion in formal reports. The Risk Advisory Supervisor position will also include client service assistance such as advice on various operational and compliance matter, best practices and helping clients deal with control issues
The Tax Manager or Senior Tax Manager will be responsible for the tax planning and compliance functions for ultra-high net worth individuals and their families with a specific focus on financial service type clients, such as hedge-fund, private equity, and other investment type individuals. The Tax Manager will also work closely with the CFO of the fund in order to handle the tax planning and compliance function of the management company. This individual is responsible for managing staff, maintaining close client relationships, prospect and assist with building a sustainable business and will work closely with Partners to best service clients in an entrepreneurial environment that prides itself on excellent client service and tax expertise.
The Tax Manager will lead and manage multiple tax engagements to deliver quality income tax services to our diverse client base. The manager will be responsible for advising clients on the tax implications of their business objectives, evaluating and selecting actions to lessen the tax burden and cost of compliance, identifying different methods of complying with tax regulations while acting as the primary client contact for complex tax issues. The manager must be comfortable with tax compliance on corporate and partnership returns.

This full-time, paid 12-week internship program operates from early January through mid-April and requires a minimum of 37.5 hours/week commitment.
The IT Senior Support Coordinator’s role is to ensure proper computer operation so that PKF O’Connor Davies end users can accomplish business tasks. This includes receiving, prioritizing, documenting, and actively resolving end-user help requests and escalating incidents when considered appropriate and necessary to maintain SLA expectations. Problem resolution may involve research, interacting with vendor support, the use of diagnostic and help request tracking tools, as well as requiring that the individual give in-person, hands-on support at the desktop level. PKF O’Connor Davies, LLP is looking for an entry-level Associate to join the Transaction Advisory Services team. The Associate will work closely with our managers and partners in providing financial and operational analysis in connection with buy-side and sell-side due diligence engagements.
During the first three years, the Associate will also have an opportunity to accumulate audit hours to obtain a CPA license as the Associate will work in our Audit practice during busy season (January to April) and spend the remaining time in Transaction Advisory Services. After the 3rd busy season, the Associate will be dedicated to TAS full-time. While working in Transaction Advisory Services, the Associate will be trained to use technology and analytical and investigative techniques to advise and provide service delivery to clients. The Candidate’s primary scope of responsibility includes the review of financial statements and inspection/Engagement Quality Review (“EQR”) of workpapers to ensure compliance with all relevant professional and regulatory standards and Firm policies, procedures and practices. The Candidate will need to interact with others across all levels of the Firm and on occasion with clients and must have the ability to manage multiple projects. The Candidate will report to Quality Control Assurance Department Leadership.
